Just Another Night

It's just another night, but falls in a different time, different date; Another episode to be watched by others and for me to repeat, Having nothing but heaviness is such a good meal to eat. Show no trembling, my heart; Fill no space and live with your sad arts. Neither with companion, nor with friend to call, I sit nonchalantly, typing consciously—yet unconscious . Letters being the outlet; What more to bet? How should I lie and rest? Grieve with me even if not for my best. " Still ," this shadow asks and they shall mourn with you. Contrasting, overshadowing the real view. Lights flickering with the flies seeking heat. Hands hold things that overwhelm my heartbeats. And as I ponder through this horizon There I shall wear my favorite mask Lingering through time—a shivering dusk. To void , to this place I'll forever wander and go on.
